7 Day Selenkay & Ol Kinyei Adventure Camping Safari

After taking a flight from Wilson Airport, Nairobi, to Selenkay Conservancy, you are met and transferred to camp via a 15-minute game drive. After settling in and taking lunch, there is an afternoon game drive in the Selenkay Conservancy, home to big cats as well as elephants and a wide range of species including large numbers of giraffes, zebra, and antelopes. We return for dinner and spend the night at this tented camp.

After an early breakfast, there is a morning game drive in the Selenkay Conservancy and an escorted nature walk with Maasai guides, returning to camp for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit a nearby Maasai Village where you will get to know more about the way of life of the Masai people before having a night game drive with a spotlight to seek out nocturnal animals. Dinner is waiting back at the camp at Selenkay.

We get up for an early breakfast and then head to Amboseli National Park for a full day of game viewing with the breathtaking backdrop of Kilimanjaro and plenty of close-up observation of elephants, as well as many other species. Return to camp in Selenkay Conservancy later in the afternoon after a picnic lunch. We spend another night at Selenkay camp.

After an early breakfast we transfer to the airstrip for the flight to Wilson Airport to catch the flight to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Here there is a transfer to the Gamewatchers Adventure Camp in Ol Kinyei Conservancy where you will be shown to your tent and have some lunch before going on a game drive in this world-famous game reserve. We return for dinner.

We wake up early for a game drive to look for the big cats, returning to camp for a late breakfast followed by an escorted nature walk and then lunch. In the afternoon enjoy another game drive in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy with a night drive as you head back to camp driving in the dark with a spotlight. Dinner is back at camp.

We have another full day of game viewing in the Mara, enjoying the spectacular beauty of this game reserve. Lunch will be a picnic in a scenic location and this is followed by another game drive. We return in the late afternoon for dinner and your last night at the camp.

There is one final, short early morning game drive in the conservancy followed by breakfast. Then it is time to grab your bags and leave camp to transfer to the airstrip for the flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi.
